Charles Eugene Patrick “Pat” Boone è un cantante e attore statunitense, nato a Jacksonville il 1 giugno 1934. Non è sicuramente un cantante rock, tant’è che è famoso in tutto il mondo (Italia compresa, dove ha partecipato a 2 festival di Sanremo) per le sue canzoni sentimentali e la voce melodiosa, ideali per i cosiddetti balli della mattonella, come venivano chiamati negli anni ’60 i balli lenti, da danzare guancia a guancia, senza fare un passo.
